FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) – There is a controversy brewing in the Bridgehampton subdivision.

Neighbors are upset their neighbor set up a fence that prevents them from using a sidewalk to take their kids to the new Harrisburg Elementary School.

“It’s a neighborly thing,” Neighbor Trey English said.

Jeff Horning set up the fence. The Homeowners’ Association wrote him a letter and told him to take it down. He says he will not remove the gate.  He says he will fight it, and that he has every right to do so. “Everybody is contending this is a public sidewalk,” Horning said, “it’s on private property.”    Read more
