For Kim and John Whitt, moving into their home that has a waterfront view at Bayhead Landings is a dream come true. “Always wanted a house on the lake, love to fish and there it is out there there is our lake,” said John Whitt.But living in their subdivision has been anything but a dream, and it’s all because John and his wife say they’ve been struggling to attend their home owner association meetings. The Whitts say the meetings are not all held at handicapped accessible locations so John cannot get his wheelchair inside. They took the issue to court as the Whitts attempted to prove the inaccessible locations violate Florida statues. But, their case was later dismissed. Read more:
